		<description>&quot;Dense&quot; doesn&#039;t even begin to describe it.  Painfully, borderline impenetrable is more like.  I was lucky to escape with my sight intact.  But having said that it was preferable to retracing our steps and we did beat the elderly couple we had led astray back to the car park.

The outing was notable from my perspective for two other reasons.  It was the first hill I have climbed in the southern uplands and I discovered the wonders of Avon Skin-So-Soft!</description>
